TV Review : Supergirl : Season 3: Episode 4 : The Faithful

Up Up and away Super Friends and DC Comics Fans ,  Here is my review of Supergirl Season 3 Episode 4 The Faithful. 1st a description of the episode : Kara investigates a new group that has a mysterious connection to Supergirl; Samantha feels like she’s letting Ruby down; J’onn confesses an old secret. Now on to my review of this episode Warning Full Spoilers To Follow , Good episode of Supergirl not as great as past episodes but still solid. The Faithful was good , action packed , a little scary , intense and emotional also a great cliffhanger. Now in this episode their is a a new group that has a mysterious connection to Supergirl worshiping The Girl of Steel. Kara though senses that this group is not who they clam to be and try’s to figure out what they are up to. Also Samantha continuing to try and raise her daughter Ruby and Alex still waiting to have kids even though Maggie does not really want kids. For me this episode felt a bit like that story from The Superman Comics from the 80’s called The Power Within. A little slow at the beginning but got better towards the end. Alex and Kara lots of good scenes of them working together also some more Danvers sisters scenes too. The scene with Kara and Alex at the end so emotional. The baddie who lead this worship group was kind of weak in this episode not one of my favorite so far. Winn and James where ok in this episode but not great J’onn always good for advice. Got to know a little more about Ruby also Lena always good to see more of her. Also good to see more of Aura played by Erica Durance in the flashbacks. Supergirl did save the day once again. Also Reign is coming and the cliffhanger at the end so chilling it’s going to be so cool when Samantha transforms into Reign and the battle between her and Supergirl comes later in this season. So far Supergirl Season 3 has been good and will get better as this season goes along. I know some fans have not been enjoying this season so far but I have been enjoying it plus the writers have some big stuff coming up for the rest of Season 3. I know this Season of Supergirl is not working for some but trust me fans it is going to get better remember where still early in the season. Overall I give Supergirl Season 3 Episode 4 The Faithful a 8/10 a good episode not great but still solid. Can’t wait for next weeks episode titled Damage. Until next week Super Friends Up Up and away !!!
