TV Review : Supergirl : Season 2 : Episode 10 : We Can Be Heroes

Up Up and Away Super Friends and DC Comics Fans , Here is my review of Supergirl Season 2 Episode 10 We Can Be Heroes. 1st a description of the episode : Livewire seemingly breaks out of prison; Supergirl takes Mon-El with her when she sees Livewire attack the NCPD; James wants to come clean with Kara; M’Gann has a psychic attack.  Now on to my review of the episode Warning Full Spoilers To Follow , Wow another great episode of Supergirl!!! We Can Be Heroes was so good. So many things happened in this episode from Supergirl / Kara , to Livewire , J’onn Jozz and M’Gann , a little Sanvers Alex and Maggie but toned down a bit , Mon-El , Guadian (James Olsen) and Winn it had it all. This was a return to the fun aspect Supergirl was in Season One. Livewire was back one of my favorite villains from Season One and she was on the loose and it was up to Supergirl , Mon-El and The DEO to stop them but we find out that no it’s not one Livewire it’s a army of Livewires and the real Livewire is locked up. And it’s up to Supergirl , Mon-El and Guardian plus Winn to free Livewire to stop those copy cat’s. The Sanvers Alex and Maggie where in some of the episode but their story was tone down a bit. The other main story is Jo’nn Jonzz Martian Manhunter and M’Gann Miss Martian and the deadly virus that is in her and with the help of Supergirl , Alex and Jo’nn she is able to defeat it and come back to them. Also we see Kara kind of un trusting of both Winn and James Olsen being heroes. Also she is right when Supergirl say’s you going to get yourself hurt. So even Supergirl trusts a lot of people she cares about everyone above all else. Great directing and writing in this episode. The shot composition is some of the best I’ve seen from Season 2 of Supergirl so far!!! Also the Kara and Mon-El scene at the end was good and some real emotions from Kara towards the end. Livewire Brit Morgan in this episode as villain amazing and Melissa Benoist so good and super awesome as Supergirl Kara Danvers once again !!! Also a good episode for J’onn Jonzz Martian Manhunter and M’Gann Miss Martian as well. Mon-El and Guardian (James Olsen) still not my favorite but have grown on me over time as characters. Tensions where high in this episode. A nice return sort of to some of the good stories we had in Season One. Now I want to address something before I close out this review I want to address some of those complaints about Supergirl Season 2 for me Season 2 of Supergirl had worked but for some fans not all but some are saying on social media and in some groups Supergirl Season 2 has not worked and is not as great as Season One. While I agree with some I will say you have to understand with the change in Networks from CBS to The CW for Season 2 the tone of Supergirl was going to change a bit and I respect those who say Season 2 of Supergirl not as good as Season One.  Again I’m not attacking those who say Season 2 has not been good I’m not but for me Supergirl Season 2 is great and the last 2 episodes it is starting to get back to that feel we had when the series started. Overall I give Supergirl Season 2 Episode 10 We Can Be Heroes a 9.5/10 a great episode and can’t wait for next weeks episode titled The Martian Chronicles. See you next week Super Friends and Up Up and Away!!!
