TV Review : Supergirl : Season 2 : Episode 6 : Changing

Up Up and Away Super Friends and DC Comics Fans , Here is my review of Supergirl Season 2 Episode 6 Changing 1st a description of the episode : The Guardian comes to help after a parasite alien drains Supergirl’s powers; Mon-El considers a new career; Alex copes with a new reality. Now on to my review of the episode Warning Full Spoilers To Follow : Wow another good episode of Supergirl this week on The CW!!! Changing was good , funny , action packed , intense and emotional. Supergirl The Guardian and The DEO really had their hands full dealing with Parasite. In this episode we get introduced to the main baddie of the episode Parasite. Now if you Supergirl fans remember way back when in the Linda Danvers Supergirl run by Peter David released from 1996-2003 in issues #34-37 Parasite appeared in that story arc and in the show I thought the way he came to life was both very creepy and scary. Also we get in the episode James Olsen with the help of Winn becoming The Guardian. And we get Alex Danvers coming out to being gay and telling both Kara and Maggie. You can tell this struggle Alex is going through coming out felt real. And this was the emotional core of the episode even more so than The Parasite vs Supergirl , DEO and The Guardian fight. The amazing performances both Melissa Benoist , Chyler Leigh , Florian Lima gave in this episode was so amazing and emotional. I even got emotional during this episode and was feeling for Alex and the pain she went through. The episode ends with the Catmus Doctor kidnapping Mon-El and that sets us up for the next episode where we will see Cyborg Superman but that’s next week. Overall I give  Supergirl Season 2 Episode 6 Changing a super outstanding 9.5/10 a great and emotional episode and can’t wait for next weeks episode titled The Darkest Place. Up Up and Away!!!
