Up Up and Away Super Friends and DC Comics Fans , Here is my review of Supergirl Season 2 Episode 3 Welcome to Earth. 1st a description of the episode : Alex and Detective Maggie Sawyer investigate an attack on the president; Kara searches for a recently escaped alien she thinks is behind the assault. Now on to my review of the episode Waring Full Spoilers To Follow , Another great episode of Supergirl this week on The CW!!! Welcome to Earth was good , action packed , intense and emotional also it ended on a cliffhanger. A little bit slower paced n the 1st half but really picked up and got really got good in the 2nd half of the episode. Supergirl , Alex , Maggie and The DEO sure had their hands full dealing with those bad Aliens and Mon-El. Also Lynda Carter was great as The President. This episode was a bit tone down a bit action wise than the 1st 2 episodes but that’s not a bad thing. Also this was more political with the whole Aliens vs Human Rights issues here with Mon-El and Darla. Now at 1st we think Mon-El is behind the attacks but it is Darla. Maggie Sawyer was so amazing in this episode and her scenes with Alex Danvers where so good and the highlights of the episode. Snapper Carr still does not like Kara and neither does James as well. Also the scenes between Kara and Lena Luthor where amazing and Lena is not wrong where she says some aliens are just bad not all of them are good. Also the scene where Supergirl is on fire and does The Wonder Woman trawl to get rid of the fire great homage to that series. The fight between Supergirl , Alex and Maggie vs Darla was so good and so much cool special effects in that scene Darla is what would happen if a female version of Firestorm went bad. We also for a tease got to see Miss Martian and that sets up the next episode but that’s for next week. Also great special effects work and stunt work in the episode !!! Overall I give Supergirl Season 2 Episode 3 Welcome to Earth a 8.5/10 a good episode not as great as the 1st 2 of Season 2 but still solid. Up Up and Away!!!
