Comics Review : Marvel : Civil War (2006)

Hello Marvel Fans here is my review of one of the big Marvel Comics events Civil War I will be reviewing The Re Release trade paperback that has The Capatain America Civil War Teaser Movie Poster as the cover. 1st a description of the story : Whose side are you on? A conflict is brewing that threatens to pit friend against friend, brother against brother and all it will take is a single misstep to cost thousands their lives and ignite the fuse! As the war claims its first victims, no one is safe as teams, friendships and families begin to fall apart and the Marvel Universe super heroes go to war against each other. Now on to my review of the story. Civil War is written by Mark Millar with artwork by Steve McNiven and a number of artists. This story while different from the movie Civil War is just as good basically The Avengers are doing their normal thing saving the world but some think of The Avengers as vigilantes and not heroes and thus The Super Hero Registration Act is created causing a rift between Captain America vs Iron Man also The Captain is upset with S.H.I.E.L.D. and The Civil War begins. This story has so much heart , emotion and action and the ending will leave you in tears and you feel for Captain America’s side and Iron Man’s side with Tony Stark and what our heroes go through. 10 years later this story is just as good as it was back in 2006 with it’s great artwork and story and it was an influence on The Captain America Civil War Movie from The Marvel Cinematic Universe. Overall I give Civil War a 9.5/10 an emotional story with lots of action and The Marvel Universe in the comics was never the same after that.
