Comics Review : DC Comics : Infinite Crisis (2005-2006)

Hello DC Comics Fans , Here is my review of the 2nd big DC Comics event and the 1st of the mid 2000’s Infinite Crisis I will be reviewing the trade paperback. 1st a description of the story : OMAC robots are rampaging, magic is dying, villains are uniting, and a war is raging in space. And in the middle of it all, a critical moment has divided Earth’s three greatest heroes: Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman. It’s the DCU’s darkest day, and long-lost heroes from the past have returned to make things right in the universe…at any cost. Heroes will live, heroes will die, and the DCU will never be the same again! This exhaustive volume also contains every cover and variant produced for the project, annotations, character designs, excerpts from scripts, unused scenes, and much more. Now on to my review of this story , Infinite Crisis is written by Geoff Johns with artwork by Phil Jimenez and a number of artists. This story is s good and one of the best in the long history of DC Comics and like 20 years before in Crisis On Infinite Earths the multiverse of DC Comics comes to ahead again. We see Earth 1 and Earth 2 in this story and the like. Also it’s over the top with lots of action and emotion. This story is best known for the battle between the Earth 1 and Earth 2 Superman vs Superboy Prime aka bad Superboy and it’s an amazing battle with lots of action. The story ends with Power Girl in tears as the Earth 2 Superman dies giving his life up to save Earth 2 and it’s so emotional and the earth are restored. Now some fans don’t think this story is as good as the original even from 20 years before Crisis On Infinite Earths but for me it is very good with great artwork to tell the story. Overall I give Infinite Crisis a 9/10 a great story with so much going on and one of the best from the early 2000’s in the history of DC Comics.
