TV Review : Supergirl : Season 1 : Episode 15 : Solitude

Up Up and Away DC Comics Fans , Here is my review of Supergirl Season 1 Episode 15 Solitude 1st as always a description of the episode : Kara travels to The Fortress of Solitude to learn how to defeat Indigo, who has a connection to Kara’s past; James and Lucy’s relationship comes to a crossroads. Now on to my thoughts on the episode Warning Full Spoilers To Follow , Wow again I really liked this episode. was good , action packed , intense and was emotional and sad. Supergirl sure had her hands full this week dealing with Indigo. This episode had it all a computer virus , Kara dealing with problems with her The DEO , Alex and Hank , Indigo , Winn working with The DEO , Non re appearing in this episode etc. this episode had it all. Let’s talk about the main villain Indigo played by Laura Vandervoot (Kara Zor-El from Smallville) Laura Vandervoort she was a tough baddie for Supergirl / Kara and it showed she was tough to stop. The sequence where Supergirl was trying to stop the rockets that Indigo sent off was a very Superman The Movie (1978) like sequence and with the help of The DEO and Winn where he said to Indigo “you are a glorified windows Vista” that was a funny line in a time of danger good one Winn. The episode ended with Alex saying to Kara she was the one who shot Astra while Hank took the blame was very sad , emotional and powerful a good moment in the episode and you can see the pain on Alex’s face. One thing I got to mention we got to see Superman’s Fortress of Solitude in the episode and the design very much based off of the one seen in Superman The Movie (1978). So many callbacks to Superman The Movie in this episode and it shows. Jimmy and Lucy looks like their relationship is over I think will see how it goes the rest of this season. And Non what is he planning we know The Red Kryptonite will make into the next episode but how? That we will have to find out in 2 weeks. I give Supergirl Season 1 Episode 15 Solitude a 9/10 a great episode and Supergirl will return in 2 weeks on March 14th with the next episode titled Falling
