Retro Reviews : The Empire Strikes Back (1980)

Next up in Retro Reviews I continue my Star Wars Movie reviews by reviewing the sequel to Star Wars , The Empire Strikes Back. The Empire Strikes Back , What can be said that has not already been said one of the best films and sequels of all-time and a great Star Wars film. It had everything The Continuing Story , Luke Skywalker , Han Solo , Princess Leia , Obi-Wan (Ben) Kenobi , C-3PO , R2-D2 , Darth Vader , AT-AT Walkers , Super Star Destroyer , Cloud City , Stromtroopers , X-wings , TIE Fighters , John Williams Music , ILM’s Effects , Irvin Kershner’s Directing plus new Characters such as Yoda and Lando Calrissian and so much more. The Empire Strikes Back was the dark chapter of The Star Wars Saga and Secrets where reveled plus it expanded The Star Wars Saga with new planets and locations. I 1st saw The Empire Strikes Back on VHS in 1991. Did not see this film in the theaters when it was 1st released in 1980 (was not born until 1983) or The Special Edition Release in 1997 just missed out on it. I’ve only seen the film on home video. Overall I give The Empire Strikes back a 10 /10 across the board it is a great movie and one the best chapters in The Star Wars Saga.
